Notes from Head Wrangler Rick:
Ways to support our ministry: Feed A Horse This Winter
It will cost about $300 or $50 a month to feed each horse at
Promise Land hay & grain for the winter. We currently have 9 horses in our
care so it gets expensive. It normally would cost more but we are getting good
deals on hay right now because it was a good summer for hay. If you would like
to support feeding a horse for a day week ($12.50), for a month ($50) or for
the winter ($300) you could send a tax exempt donation by pay pal or by
check to Promise Land Ministries, W2571 890th Ave, Spring Valley, WI 54767.
Also you can shop online on our portal www.SupportPLM.org or just keep attending Promise Land events or going on
trail rides!
If you would like to select a horse to feed for the
winter, the following horses are still waiting for a Caregiver: (don't worry,
they are being fed in the meantime! :))
Woodstock (Indy) - 5 year old Arab mix mare
Sassy - 20 year old pony mare
Spice - 18 year old QH mare
Jewel - 12 year old Arab
Cheyenne - 1 month
Cody - 1 month
Izzy - 2 months
Zeus - 3 months
Thanks to all of you that have volunteered for
Promise Land this year. You have all made 2011 a very successful year for our
ministry and we hope to see all of you again next year. We are starting to work
on our 2012 schedule and plan to have many of the same events on the calendar
again including the Christian Horse Expo, Santa Horse & Friends and Gospel
Hill Camp to name a few.
Blessings and Giddy Up for Jesus,
Rick
